For Families
Early access · Pilot clubsYour Child’s Team, All in One Place
The TurfTime Team App gives parents and guardians the schedule, the updates and the team information they actually need—without a group text thread, a shared spreadsheet or yet another club login.
It is the family-facing side of the same platform the club uses to run its fields, so what a parent sees is what the club has scheduled.
What parents and guardians get
Most club communication reaches families as forwarded screenshots and group messages. The Team App gives them one place that is current because it is connected to the club’s actual schedule.
Your child’s schedule, not the whole club’s
Practices, games and team events for the teams your children are actually on—no filtering through a club-wide calendar to find them.
Every child in one account
Siblings across different teams appear together. Parents with children in more than one program sign in once.
Subscribe to the calendar you already use
Team schedules feed into the phone calendar your family already checks, and stay current when the club changes something.
Updates from the coach
Coaches post to the team—a welcome, a schedule change, what to bring—and posts land on the family home screen instead of a group text.
A team directory that protects addresses
Reach another family through the directory without their email address being handed out.
Team forms without the paper chase
Season surveys from the coach appear on each child’s card and can be answered from a phone.
Nothing for parents to set up
The most common reason a club app fails is that half the families never finish signing up. The Team App removes that step.
1
The club already has your email
Access is tied to the email address the club holds for you as a guardian. There is no separate account to create and no code for the club to distribute.
2
Sign in the way you already do
Continue with Google or Microsoft, or sign in with the email the club has on file. A link from the club signs you in with one tap.
3
You see your children, and only your children
The app resolves which players you are a guardian for. Access follows the club’s roster—not a list a parent maintains.
Roster offers, answered in the app
When a coach offers a player a place on a team, the offer goes to the guardian as a letter built from the team’s template. The guardian accepts, or marks the offer tentative and says why.
The coach sees where every offer stands and can resend to the families who have not answered—instead of reconstructing the picture from replies scattered across email.
The same app gives coaches the team side
Coaches who manage a roster and coaches who are also parents at the club use one account for both.
- Manage the team roster, with siblings and duplicate guardians resolved to one person
- Build a roster from a spreadsheet instead of retyping it
- Send roster offer letters to guardians, from a team template
- See who has accepted, who is tentative and why, and resend to the rest
- Post team updates to the family home screen
- Add team events alongside the club’s schedule
- Create season surveys and read the responses
- Control what the team directory shows
Built for a club’s duty of care
Family contact information is some of the most sensitive data a club holds. The Team App is designed so that sharing it is a deliberate decision, not a side effect of being on a roster.
- The team directory relays a message without disclosing the recipient’s email address.
- Clubs and coaches control what the team list shows and who can see it.
- A guardian sees the children they are a guardian for—nothing beyond that.
- Access is derived from the club’s roster, so it ends when a family leaves.
Questions parents ask
- Do I need to create an account?
- No. Access is tied to the email address your club already holds for you as a guardian. You can sign in with Google or Microsoft, or with that email address directly — and a link from your club signs you in with one tap.
- What if I have more than one child at the club?
- They appear together. You are one person in your club’s records with each of your children linked to you, so siblings on different teams show up in the same place rather than requiring separate logins.
- Can I add the schedule to my phone’s calendar?
- Yes. You can subscribe to the team schedule from the calendar app your family already uses, and it stays current when the club changes something.
- Who can see my contact details?
- Your coach and your club administrators can see the contact details your club holds. Other families can reach you through the team directory, but the directory relays the message — it does not disclose your email address. Your club and coach control what the team list shows.
- What does the Team App cost me as a parent?
- Nothing. The Team App is provided through your club as part of its TurfTime subscription.
- What happens if my child changes teams or leaves the club?
- Access follows your club’s roster. If a child moves teams, the app follows them; if your family leaves the club, access to that club ends.
- Is the Team App available to my club?
- It is in early access with pilot clubs while we shape it around real rosters and real families. Your club’s administrator can tell you whether it is switched on for your teams.
The Team App is in early access
We are rolling the Team App out with pilot clubs so it is shaped by real rosters, real coaches and real families before it reaches everyone. If your club wants its parents in it this season, tell us about your programs.
