Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-27
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TurfTime FMS ("TurfTime," "we," "our," or "us") and our website and field-scheduling service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
We've tried to write this in plain language. If anything is unclear, email info@turftimefms.com.
The short version
- • You agree to use TurfTime for what it's built for — managing your club's field schedule.
- • Your data is yours. You can export it or cancel anytime.
- • We try hard to keep the Service running, but we can't guarantee zero downtime. Don't rely on us as the only place a critical schedule lives.
- • If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you've paid us.
- • If you disagree with a future change to these Terms, you can cancel before it takes effect.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself and your club, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using TurfTime on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
TurfTime is a field-scheduling service designed for community soccer clubs. The Service includes the ability to manage fields, permits, teams, schedules, rainouts, and related notifications. Specific features available may change over time as we improve the product.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly at info@turftimefms.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account if you failed to take reasonable steps to keep it secure.
4. Subscription, billing, and refunds
TurfTime is offered as a paid subscription. Pricing for each plan is published on our pricing page. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan).
- Money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied in any way within the first 14 days of your subscription, contact us and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
- Renewals. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
- Plan changes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
- Refunds. Outside of the 14-day money-back guarantee period, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. We may issue refunds at our discretion, particularly in cases where the Service has been materially unavailable.
- Taxes. Prices listed do not include taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar charges in your jurisdiction.
5. Cancellation, pause, and termination
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you continue to have access until then.
You can pause your subscription for up to three months per calendar year. While paused, your settings, fields, and history remain intact and you are not billed.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, use the Service unlawfully, or fail to pay. We will normally provide notice and a chance to cure before termination, except in cases of urgent risk.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party rights.
- Upload or store information about minors. (TurfTime is not designed to handle that data and you should not put it in the system.)
- Attempt to access another club's data or any part of our systems you are not authorized to access.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
- Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or unsolicited communications.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
7. Your data
You retain all rights to the information you put into TurfTime ("Customer Data"). We claim no ownership over Customer Data.
You grant us a limited license to host, store, transmit, and display Customer Data solely as necessary to provide the Service. We will handle Customer Data as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can export Customer Data in CSV format from your account at any time. If you cancel, you can continue to export for up to 30 days, after which Customer Data is deleted from active systems (encrypted backups may persist up to 90 additional days).
8. Intellectual property
TurfTime, the Service, the website, and all related software, designs, and content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.
If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Service availability
We work hard to keep TurfTime running reliably, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Planned maintenance, third-party outages (e.g., hosting provider), and unforeseen issues can cause downtime.
We do not currently offer a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA). Do not rely on TurfTime as the only place a time-critical schedule is recorded.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or any warranty arising from a course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, that it will be uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected on any particular timeline.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TurfTime's total liability arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD $100).
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, or arising from any Customer Data you put into the Service.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY, STATE], and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
[Fill in jurisdiction with your attorney based on where TurfTime is incorporated. Many small SaaS companies use Delaware (incorporation) and the state where they operate.]
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
